Methodology and assessment
Entrepreneurship in Renewable Energy employs a learning-by-doing approach via a part-time programme that mixes remote classes with on-site activities. Its format is designed to fit in with professional activities.
Specific elements include interactive SPOCs (Small Private Online Courses) that incorporate hands-on activities in a cutting-edge research environment. In-person and distance learning courses as well as group collaboration in a project management case study are also included. Assessment takes the form of multiple-choice questionnaires, group reports and group oral defences.
The course is aimed at a professional executive audience. Specific categories include researchers seeking to start up ventures in the renewables sector, energy company engineers wanting to re-orient their careers, and technical staff in charge of renewable energy projects at public institutions.
There are no specific prerequisites.
Certificate of attendance issued by InnoEnergy and Ecole Polytechnique / HEC Paris to all who complete the course.
